Trilingualism / CLIL / Native-speaking language assistants

Native English-speaking language assistants are young students wishing to spend a year abroad experiencing a different culture and learning a new language whilst at the same time offering help and support for language learners in the classroom. Their role in a centre of education is as follows:

  • Conversation practice
  • Assisting in the language lab, with audio-visual classes, linguistic issues, presentations  and oral examinations.
  • Stimulating student language skills through games, reading and songs.
  • Assistance in subjects other than English, for example, science, art and technology, physical education.
  • Assisting in any other area to improve student language skills
